Councilman Stephen Levin Tours Our Garden

IAnsleyLevinGardinncumbent candidate Stephen Levin made a campaign stop here Sunday to see our vegetables and talk composting with Ansley and other parents.

After sampling our beans, he endorsed a 3-bin compost system, which we promised to bring to the attention of the board.levinbean

When Levin saw our award certificates on the fence, he was happy to remind us that his office funds the Citizen’s Committee for New York City, the group that awarded us our first grant.

levgardenAs we brought up the success of the Good Sports @ McLaughlin Park‘s soccer program with the Red Bulls, he informed us that, thanks to redistricting, the McLaughlin Park is now inside his district.
