A New Butterfly Weed & Signs of Susan

While we have attempted to grow this type of milkweed, Asclepias tuberosa, before, I think this is the best it has ever done. There are two blooming outside the small garden fence. Plus, it looks as if thr blackeyed Susans by the persimmon tree are coming back!

Stayed tuned for a watering schedule. Its expected to be ready for signups this weekend!

    Really do love the Black-eyed Susans. Remember when there used to be a bunch in the small yard out front of 230 Jay and Warner and I would stop and admire them as he walked around the block again and again and again . . .
