You’re Invited: Our Seed-Starting Workshop Is Thurs 3.8, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

27 Feb

CVEarthlab’s Seed-Starting Workshop will take place in the community room on the evening of Thursday, March 8th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All residents, including those with and those without small children, are most welcome to attend.

CVEarthlab gardeners will provide non-GMO, organic vegetable and flower seeds and guidance. You bring organic potting soil, a small pot or an empty plastic bottle (to convert into a sub-irrigated, self-watering planter).  RSVPs are appreciated.

We’ll Be Starting Edible Vegetables and Flowers

We’ll be starting tomatoes, herbs, peppers, as well as cleome, yellow coneflower, zinnia, and various annual and perennial flowers, many of which were gathered from the Old Stone House Seed Swap earlier this year.

Everyone is invited to join the garden committee for the 2018 season. We’ll start prepping the raised beds and sowing seeds into the ground in April; transplanting starts in May.  We hope to open the Spring and Summer watering schedule for signups soon. Learn about membership here, or ask one of us at the event.

Thank you!  -Shari, Judith, Sandy and Denise
