We’re planning a kid-friendly garden workday, starting at 10am this Saturday. Come help do some direct-seed planting (patty pan squash), transplanting, and hardening off herb seedlings started indoors. We’ll install a small new raised bed, configure the new strawberry tower, move soil and more.  Join us at 10am until about 11:30am.*

RSVPs are appreciated!  Send a note to cvearthlab@gmail.com.

CVEarthlab is CV’s community garden inside the Children’s Play Area behind 195 Adams St. All residents are welcome to get involved!  Please join us at an event, or sign up on the watering schedule to commit to water the plants in May. (While the Children’s Play Area will be closed for most of May, adult gardeners will have access to the garden corner during the closure for plant care.)

Even if you cannot stay, Saturday morning is an opportunity to drop off your 2018 membership dues if you haven’t already.  Suggested donation is $25 per family or $10 per individual to help cover the cost of organic soil and other materials. Write out checks to CVOI with CVEarthlab in the subject line. Learn more about annual expenses for the self-funded project here. Thank you! -Shari, Sandy, Judith and Denise, CVEarthlab Core Garden Group

More gardening events are scheduled for Sat Ap 28 and Wed evenings in May.  Find details here.

*In case of heavy rain, this will take place in the morning on Sun Ap 22nd.
