31 AugHeat Wave = Watering Help Needed!
29 AugCan you help out the plants by signing up to water?
We especially need help over the next week, including Fri Aug 31, Sat Sept 1, Sun Sept 2, Mon Sept 3rd and Tues Sept 4th.
There’s lot of interesting garden growth to show kids: cucumber plants are climbing; tomato, eggplant, and pepper plants are fruiting; and ground cherries are ready to eat!
Find the watering sign up form here. If you need more detailed instructions, click on New + Improved Watering Schedule or Garden Watering Guidelines . Thanks in advance for volunteering!
Have You Seen the Jalapenos?
27 AugThe jalapenos are starting to mature!
You’ll find the hot peppers growing in the standing raised bed behind 225 Adams (near the 270 Jay backdoor bench).
Harvesting Reminders
Herbs and fruit in this “free” standing bed, and the standing bed outside the children’s play area fence, are available for all residents to sample.
While donations are not required for samples, we hope you’ll consider joining CVEarthlab or making a financial donation if you or your family samples more than once a year.
What Is CVEarthlab?
CVEarthlab is the self-funded, community garden at CV. Members grow edible organic plants in the raised beds inside the children’s play area behind 195 Adams St.
