The Seed-Starting Workshop is this Friday! The event will take place on March 6th from 6pm to 7pm in the community room.
Join us!
At this indoor workshop, we will start seeds for plants — such as tomatoes, peppers, and flowers, that need time to grow — and then nurture them in the window sills of our homes. In late May or early June we will transplant the baby plants into the CVEarthlab raised beds.
It’s An Event for All-Ages
All residents, including those with and those without small children, are most welcome to attend the workshop and plant with us!
How the Seed-Starting Workshop Works
CVEarthlab gardeners will provide non-GMO, organic vegetable and flower seeds, organic potting soil and guidance.
You bring a small pot or an empty plastic bottle (to convert into a sub-irrigated, self-watering planter). A suggested donation of $2., and an RSVP are requested
See images from previous workshops here.
Thank you!
