We’re planning an outdoor seed-starting workshop for Sunday 3.7 @2pm.
Please note that for safety, space will be limited and we will schedule short sessions for 1-2 families at a time. More details to come.

We hope you can join us! All residents are most welcome. To check out previous workshops, click on 2020 Seed Starting or promos for previous events. We will provide organic, non-GMO flower and vegetable seeds, organic soil, and wicking material for self-watering planters. You bring small planters, cow pots, or planter-making materials (empty seltzer bottles).
New this year: We’ll hold the workshop OUTDOORS, in the children’s play area, with scheduled times for participation to allow for social distancing. As in previous years, participants will bring home and care for seedlings until they are ready to be transplanted into the garden in the Spring (usually late May).
Rain date: Sunday 3.14. To let us know you are interested, leave a comment below or send an email message to cvearthlab@gmail.com (This will help us organize the sessions). CVEarthlab is a self-funded, community educational garden located in the children’s play area behind 195 Adams St. The kid-friendly workshop will be an opportunity to learn more about the CVEarthlab garden and how to get involved, make a donation, or become a member.
