Free Planting Workshop

Saturday March 2nd, 6:30-7:45pm

On the evening of Saturday, March 2nd, CVEarthlab will host a seed-starting workshop in the community room at 230 Jay St.  Join us!

Flowers, Tomatoes, and More!

As in years before, the garden committee will provide seeds and help participants create sub-irrigated planters from upcycled plastic bottles.  All are welcome; please bring your own organic potting soil if you plan to transplant into the CVEarthlab garden (we use only non-GMO seeds and organic materials).  If you’d like to plant in self-watering planters, please try to bring empty seltzer bottles.

Most flowers and plants started at this workshop will be transplanted in May and June.  During May, we plan to hold weekly evening sessions in the garden to help new gardeners hard-off baby plants and prepare them for transplant. More details to come.blogger-image-471735662
